Indeed, We gave Moses the Book; so he not in doubt concerning the encounter with him; and We appointed it for a guidance to the Children of Israel. 23 When they persevered and firmly believed Our revelations We appointed learned men among them who guided them by Our command. 24 Surely your Lord will judge between them on the day of resurrection concerning that wherein they differ. 25 Is it not a guidance for them, how many generations We have destroyed before them in whose dwellings they do walk about? Verily, therein indeed are signs. Would they not then listen? 26 Do they not see how We drive the water to the parched lands and bring forth therefrom crops from which their cattle and themselves eat? Will they not see! 27 Yet they say: "When will this decree come, if you speak the truth?" 28 Say: 'On the Day of Victory their faith shall not profit the unbelievers, nor shall they be respited.' 29 Wherefore turn aside thou from them, and await; verily they are awaiting. 30
