Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the sky is split, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 noble scribes 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense, 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
