We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 And there is not of aught but with Us are the treasures thereof, and We send it not down save in a measure known 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
