AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We! 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 (Muhammad), tell them,"Seek refuge in God. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you. 50 And make not another an object of worship with Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 51 Similarly, whenever a Noble Messenger came to those before them they always said, “He is a magician or a madman.” 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 Lo! Allah! He it is that giveth livelihood, the Lord of unbreakable might. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 So woe to the unbelievers, for that day of theirs that they are promised. 60
