Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
Surely the people of al-Hijr also rejected the Messengers, calling them liars. 80 We brought them Our signs, and they turned away from them. 81 They would carve secure houses out of the mountains. 82 But the shriek seized them at early morning. 83 Then availed them not that which they had been earning. 84 And We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, except with the Truth; and indeed the Last Day will come, therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), forbear graciously. 85 Verily, your Lord is the All-Knowing Creator. 86 We have indeed bestowed on you the seven oft-repeated verses and the Great Qur'an. 87 Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers). 88 And say: "I am indeed he that warneth openly and without ambiguity,"- 89 (Of just such wrath) as We sent down on those who divided (Scripture into arbitrary parts),- 90 Who have made the Quran into parts. (i.e. believed in a part and disbelieved in the other). 91 So, by your Lord (O Muhammad SAW), We shall certainly call all of them to account. 92 As to what they did. 93 Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and avoid the polytheists. 94 We are surely sufficient to deal with those who scoff at you, 95 who assert that there are, side by side with God, other divine powers as well: for in time they will come to know [the truth]. 96 And surely We know that your breast straitens at what they say; 97 Therefore proclaim the Purity of your Lord with praise, and be of those who prostrate. 98 and serve thy Lord, until the Certain comes to thee. 99

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
