ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 On the Day of Judgment, when the pious people will be brought into the presence of the Beneficent God as the guests of honor 85 And drive the wicked into Hell like cattle driven to water, 86 On that Day none will have the power to intercede for them except those who received a sanction from the Most Compassionate Lord. 87 And they say: The Beneficent Allah has taken (to Himself) a son. 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 that they have attributed to the All-merciful a son; 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and earth except he comes to the Merciful as a worshiper. 93 Assuredly He hath comprehended them and counted them a full counting. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Merciful will assign for them love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And many a generation We did destroy before them; do you see any one of them or hear their faintest sound? 98
