Blessed is He who has established constellations in the sky and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 And He it is who causes the night and the day to succeed one another, [revealing Himself in His works] unto him who has the will to take thought - that is has the will to be grateful. 62 And the slaves of the Most Beneficent (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness. 63 And these who pass the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing up. 64 Who say: "O our Lord, avert from us the torment of Hell: Its punishment is surely continuous. 65 it is an evil abode and an evil resting place": 66 who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor miserly but keep the golden mean between the two (extremes): 67 And those who cry not unto any other god along with Allah, nor take the life which Allah hath forbidden save in (course of) justice, nor commit adultery - and whoso doeth this shall pay the penalty; 68 The punishment shall be increased for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will remain in it forever, with humiliation. 69 Except those who repent and believe (in Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, for those, Allah will change their sins into good deeds, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 70 He who repents and does good works truly turns to Allah in repentance, 71 And those who do not give false testimony, and when they pass near some indecency, they pass by it saving their honour. 72 And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind. 73 who say, 'Our Lord, give us refreshment of our wives and seed, and make us a model to the godfearing.' 74 They will be awarded the high place forasmuch as they were steadfast, and they will meet therein with welcome and the ward of peace, 75 There they shall abide forever: a blessed dwelling and a blessed resting place. 76 Say: "My Lord is not concerned on your account if you do not pray to Him. You have surely done with denying; soon will come the inevitable judgement. 77
