The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
