Believers, do not behave like those who slandered Moses. God cleared him of their allegations. He was honourable in the sight of God. 69 O you who believe, obey the commands of God, and say straightforward things 70 God will reform your deeds and forgive your sins. One who obeys God and His Messenger will certainly achieve a great success. 71 We had offered the Trust (of divine responsibilities) to the heavens, the earth, the mountains, but they refrained from bearing the burden and were frightened of it; but man took it on himself. He is a faithless ignoramus. 72 (With the result) that Allah has to punish the Hypocrites, men and women, and the Unbelievers, men and women, and Allah turns in Mercy to the Believers, men and women: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 73
God the Almighty always says the truth.
