The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ TA SIN MIM. 1 THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth! 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If We will, We shall send down on them out of heaven a sign, so their necks will stay humbled to it. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
