The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 but he whose weight is light in the Scale, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
