Believers, fear God as is His due, and when death comes, be in a state of complete submission to Him. 102 All of you united hold fast to the rope of God (the Quran and His Messenger), and recall how He favored you when your hostility to each other had torn you apart. He united your hearts in one faith and through His Grace you became brothers. You were on the verge of falling headlong into the abyss of fire, but God saved you. This is how God explains to you His revelations so that you may have the right guidance. 103 And there may spring from you a nation who invite to goodness, and enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency. Such are they who are successful. 104 And be not like unto those who separated and differed among themselves after there had come unto them evidences. These! for them shall be a torment mighty. 105 On the Day [some] faces will turn white and [some] faces will turn black. As for those whose faces turn black, [to them it will be said], "Did you disbelieve after your belief? Then taste the punishment for what you used to reject." 106 And for those whose faces will become white, they will be in Allah's Mercy (Paradise), therein they shall dwell forever. 107 These are God's revelations; We recite them to you in all truth. God desires no injustice to mankind. 108 To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And to Allah will [all] matters be returned. 109
