۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
