The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
