We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
