The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
