And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
