The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
