The folk of Lot denied the messengers (of Allah), 160 When their brother Lut said unto them: fear ye not? 161 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 162 so fear you God, and obey you me. 163 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 164 Do you, in the world, want to have carnal relations with males 165 And leave ye your spouses your Lord hath created for you? Aye! ye are a people trespassing. 166 They said: if thou desistest not, O Lut! thou shalt surely be of those driven forth. 167 He said, “I am disgusted with your works.” 168 "O my Lord! deliver me and my family from such things as they do!" 169 So We delivered him and his family,- all 170 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind. 171 But the rest We destroyed utterly. 172 And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned. 173 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 174 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 175
