Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
YA SIN. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism). 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
