Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 from which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
