The unbelievers have said, "Shall we and our fathers be brought out of the graves after we become dust? 67 Assuredly we have been promised this aforetime, we and our fathers. Naught is this but fables of the ancients. 68 Say: "Go about through the earth and see what has been the end of the evil-doers." 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 for there is nothing [so deeply] hidden in the heavens or on earth but is recorded in [His] clear decree. 75 Indeed this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel much of what they are at variance. 76 And indeed, it is guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Surely your Lord in His wisdom will decide between them. He is all-mighty and all-knowing. 78 So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the path of) manifest Truth. 79 Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; 80 And you will not guide the blind out of their error; and none listen to you except those who accept faith in Our signs, and they are Muslims. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
