We will certainly help Our messengers and those who believe, in this world, and on the day the witnesses take their stand, 51 The excuses of the unjust will be of no benefit to them on that day. They will be condemned to live in a most terrible abode. 52 And indeed, We bestowed aforetime [Our] guidance on Moses, and [thus] made the children of Israel heirs to the divine writ [revealed to him] 53 as their inheritance and as a guide and a reminder to the people of understanding. 54 (Muhammad), exercise patience. The promise of God is true. Seek forgiveness for your sins and glorify your Lord with His praise in the evenings and in the early mornings. 55 Lo! those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah without a warrant having come unto them, there is naught else in their breasts save pride which they will never attain. So take thou refuge in Allah. Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Seer. 56 Assuredly the creation of the heavens and the earth is a greater (matter) than the creation of men: Yet most men understand not. 57 And the blind and the seeing are not alike, nor those who believe and do good and the evil-doer; little is it that you are mindful. 58 Verily, the Last Hour is sure to come: of this there is no doubt; yet most men will not believe it. 59 And your Lord says: "Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayer): but those who are too arrogant to serve Me will surely find themselves in Hell - in humiliation!" 60

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
