It is God who made the night for you to rest, the day to make things visible. Indeed God is gracious to men, but most men are not grateful. 61 Such is God, your Sustainer, the Creator of all that exists: there is no deity save Him. How perverted, then, are your minds! 62 Thus, indeed, those who deny the signs of God turn away from Him. 63 It is Allah Who made for you the earth your resting place and the sky a canopy, and moulded you so gave you the best shape, and gave you pure things for sustenance; such is Allah, your Lord; so Most Auspicious is Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 64 He is the Ever-Living: there is no god but He. So call upon Him, consecrating to Him all your devotion. All praise and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the whole Universe. 65 ۞ Say: 'I am forbidden to serve those you call on apart from God once the clear signs came to me from my Lord; and I am commanded to surrender to the Lord of All Being.' 66 It is He who created you from dust, then from a drop of fluid, then from a tiny, clinging form, then He brought you forth as infants, then He allowed you to reach maturity, then He let you grow old, though some of you die sooner, and reach your appointed term so that you may reflect. 67 He it is Who causeth life and death. Then whensoever He decreeth an affair He only saith unto it: be, and it becometh. 68
