▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: How excellently We do spread out! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
