So remind [O Muhammad], for you are not, by the favor of your Lord, a soothsayer or a madman. 29 Or do they say: "(Muhammad SAW is) a poet! We await for him some calamity by time! 30 Proclaim, “Go on waiting – I too am waiting along with you.” 31 is it their minds that prompt them [to say] this, or are they merely insolent people? 32 Or say they: he hath fabricated it: aye they will not believe. 33 Let them produce a scripture like it, if what they say is true. 34 Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators? 35 Or, did they create the heavens and the earth? No, their belief is not certain! 36 Do they possess the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the treasurers? 37 Or do they have a ladder (climbing which) they can hear (the secrets of heaven)? Let one who has heard then bring a clear proof. 38 Hath He daughters and ye sons? 39 Or is it that you ask of them any recompense so that they should fear to be weighed down under the burden of debt? 40 Or, is the Unseen in their keeping, so they are writing it down? 41 Or do they intend a plot (against you O Muhammad SAW)? But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) are themselves in a plot! 42 Or have they any god beside Allah? Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)! 43 Even if they saw lumps falling from heaven, they would say, 'A massed cloud!' 44 Then leave them, till they encounter their day wherein they shall be thunderstruck, 45 the Day when none of their scheming will be of the least avail to them, and they will receive no succour. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a punishment beyond that. But most of them know not. 47 And be patient upon your Lord’s command, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), for you are indeed in Our sight; and proclaim the Purity of your Lord while praising Him, whenever you stand. 48 Extol His glory at night, and at the setting of the stars. 49
