Al-Waaqe'ah 2 of 3
These (people of the right hand) consist of many from the ancient 39 And a company of the later peoples. 40 And the fellows on the left hand; how miserable shall the fellows on the left hand be! 41 mid burning winds and boiling waters 42 And in the shadow of a burning smoke. 43 Which is neither cool nor is for respect. 44 For that they were wont to be indulged, before that, in wealth (and luxury), 45 and persisted in heinous sins. 46 And they were wont to say: when we have died and become dust and bones, shall we, then, verily be raised? 47 and perhaps, too, our forebears of old?" 48 Say: The first and the last, 49 Are to be gathered together for the appointment of a known Day." 50 "Then moreover, verily, you the erring-ones, the deniers (of Resurrection)! 51 will eat from the fruit of the tree of Zaqqum, 52 and will have to fill your bellies therewith, 53 and on top of this you will drink boiling water 54 and you will drink as the lapping of thirsty camels. 55 That is their accommodation on the Day of Recompense. 56 We! it is We Who created you: wherefore confess ye not? 57 Then tell Me (about) the human semen that you emit. 58 Did you create it or was it We who created it? 59 We! it is We Who have decreed death unto you all. And We are not to be outrun. 60 In the matter of exchanging you for others, and to transform you into what you do not know. 61 And [since] you are indeed aware of the [miracle of your] coming into being in the first instance - why, then, do you not bethink yourselves [of Us]? 62 Just ponder over what you sow: 63 is it you that sow it, or are We the Sower? 64 If We willed, We could make it [dry] debris, and you would remain in wonder, 65 crying, "We have been left to suffer loss. 66 Rather, we have been deprived." 67 Have ye observed the water which ye drink? 68 Is it you that send it down from the clouds or We? 69 If We pleased, We would have made it salty; why do you not then give thanks? 70 Have you considered the fire which you strike? 71 Produce ye the tree thereof, or are We the Producer? 72 We have made it a reminder and provision for the travelers, 73 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 74

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
