▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in hell. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
