The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
