Verily for the God-fearing, are with their Lord Gardens of Delight. 34 What! shall We then make (that is, treat) those who submit as the guilty? 35 What aileth you? How ill ye judge! 36 Or have you a book wherein you read, 37 that (in the Hereafter) you shall have all that you choose for yourselves? 38 Or have you taken a binding promise from Us which would hold till the Day of Judgement, that you will get whatever you demand? 39 Ask them which of them, for that [claim], is responsible. 40 Or have they "partners"? Then let them bring their "partners" if they are truthful! 41 Remember the Day whereon the shank shall be bared and they shall be called upon to Prostrate themselves, but they shall not be able. 42 Their eyes will be lowered and disgrace will cover them. They had certainly been told to prostrate themselves before God when they were safe and sound. 43 So leave Me with him who cries lies to this discourse! We will draw them on little by little whence they know not; 44 I shall grant them some respite, for My plan is powerful. 45 Or are you asking them for some compensation so that they feel burdened with debt? 46 Or that they possess the hidden, so they are writing it? 47 So wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish, when he cried while he was in distress. 48 and who cried (for help) to his Lord, while imprisoned and helpless inside the fish. Had it not been for a favor from his Lord, he would have been left out in the open, deserving blame for his shortcomings. 49 But his Lord had chosen him and He placed him among the righteous. 50 And the Unbelievers would almost trip thee up with their eyes when they hear the Message; and they say: "Surely he is possessed!" 51 And it is nothing but a Reminder unto all beings. 52
