And (remember) when Allah said: "O 'Iesa (Jesus)! I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you [of the forged statement that 'Iesa (Jesus) is Allah's son] of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (Monotheists, who worship none but Allah) superior to those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allah, or disbelieve in some of His Messengers, e.g. Muhammad SAW, 'Iesa (Jesus), Musa (Moses), etc., or in His Holy Books, e.g. the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Quran] till the Day of Resurrection. Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute." 55 I shall sternly punish the unbelievers in this life and in the life to come and no one will help them. 56 But as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, He will give them in full their rewards, and Allah does not like the wrongdoers. 57 (Muhammad), what we recite to you are revelations and words of wisdom. 58 Verily, the likeness of 'Iesa (Jesus) before Allah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: "Be!" - and he was. 59 The Truth (comes) from Allah alone; so be not of those who doubt. 60 Therefore say to those who dispute with you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) concerning Eisa after the knowledge has come to you, “Come! Let us summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves – then pray humbly, thereby casting the curse of Allah upon the liars!” (The Christians did not accept this challenge.) 61 This is the true story. There is no God but Allah, and assuredly Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise. 62 And if they turn away [from this truth] - behold, God has full knowledge of the spreaders of corruption. 63
