Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 Nor diviner's speech - little is it that ye remember! 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 It is really a reminder for those who fear God and follow the straight path. 48 We know that there are some among you who will belie. 49 it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth -- 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
