I swear by all that you can see, 38 And that which you do not see. 39 that this is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand 45 Then We would have cut from him the aorta. 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 It is surely the nemesis of unbelievers. 50 And indeed it is a certain Truth. 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
