But what is the matter with the unbelievers, that they strain their glances continuously towards them, 36 On the right and on the left, in groups? 37 Does every one of them wish to enter the garden of tranquility? 38 By no means! For they know very well out of what We have created them (The human being's naturally growing from a living germ, without discipline and good deeds will not result in virtue). 39 So I swear by the Lord of all [the three hundred and sixty (360)] points of sunrise and sunset in the east and the west that surely We are Able 40 To bring instead (others) better than them, and We shall not be overcome. 41 (Muhammad), leave them alone to dispute and play until they face the Day with which they have been threatened: 42 The day on which they shall come forth from their graves in haste, as if they were hastening on to a goal, 43 Their eyes lowered in dejection, ignominy covering them (all over)! such is the Day the which they are promised! 44
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
