Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 separating one from another, 4 And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts. 5 excusing or warning, 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 For a known term? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 the living and the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
