We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
