22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I CALL TO witness the sky (bespangled) with the signs of the Zodiac, 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 Cursed were the companions of the trench 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 Lo! [With glee do] they contemplate that [fire,] 6 to watch what they were doing to the believers, 7 And they persecuted them for naught save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. 10 As for the righteously striving believers, they will live in Paradise wherein streams flow. This is the greatest triumph. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 Yet the infidels persist in denial. 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 in a guarded tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
