Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing 1 then the bearers of weight (the clouds), 2 And (the ships) that float with ease and gentleness; 3 And those who distribute (it) by command, 4 What you are promised is certainly true: 5 And the judgment must most surely come about. 6 I swear by the heaven full of ways. 7 You are surely caught in contradictions., 8 Let whoever wishes, turn away from Our Quran. 9 Perish the conjecturers 10 Who are careless in an abyss! 11 They ask: When is the Day of Judgment? 12 The day they will be burnt in the Fire, 13 [And will be told], "Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient." 14 Indeed the pious are among Gardens and water springs. 15 receiving what their Lord will give them because before this they were gooddoers. 16 sleeping little in the night-time, 17 and in the mornings they would ask for forgiveness; 18 and sharing their possessions with the beggars and the deprived. 19 And in the earth there are signs for those who are sure, 20 and also in yourselves. Can you not see? 21 In heaven is your sustenance, and also that which you are promised. 22 So by oath of the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this Qur’an is the Truth, in the same language that you speak. 23
