The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
