Hizb 46

Jonah, too, was one of the Messengers. 139 When he ran away (like a slave from captivity) to the ship (fully) laden, 140 cast lots, and was among the losers. 141 So the whale swallowed him, for he was blameworthy, 142 Had he not glorified God, 143 he would certainly have remained inside the fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We caused him to be cast forth on to the beach, sick as he was, 145 and caused a gourd tree to grow over him, 146 We sent him as a messenger to a hundred thousand people or more, 147 And they came to believe; so We allowed them to enjoy the good things of life for an age. 148 (Muhammad), ask them, "Do daughters belong to your Lord and sons to them? 149 Or created We the angels females while they were present? 150 Lo! it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 "Allah has begotten off spring or children (i.e. angels are the daughters of Allah)?" And, verily, they are liars! 152 Did He (then) choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What is amiss with you and your judgment? 154 Will you not then remember? 155 Or is there for you a plain authority? 156 Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful. 157 And they have appointed a relationship between Him and the jinns; and indeed the jinns surely know that they will be brought forth. 158 Glory be to Allah (for freedom) from what they describe; 159 but not so the true servants of God, 160 So you and your deities 161 Cannot lead astray [turn away from Him (Allah) anyone of the believers], 162 except for he who shall roast in Hell. 163 And there is none of us but has an assigned place, 164 We stand in ranks (for prayer) 165 And we are they who exalt (Allah)' 166 And indeed, the disbelievers used to say, 167 "If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples, 168 then were we God's sincere servants.' 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 We decreed that Our Messenger servants 171 That they would certainly be assisted, 172 and that Our army will be triumphant. 173 Therefore turn away from them till a time, 174 and watch them. They, too, will watch. 175 What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? 176 Then when it descendeth unto them face to face, a hapless morn that shall be for those who were warned. 177 So turn thou from them for a while, 178 and see, soon they shall see! 179 Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him! 180 Peace be upon the Messengers 181 and all praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
