The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I CALL TO witness the heavens and the night Star -- 1 what do you know what the night-visitor is? 2 The star of piercing brightness; 3 There is no living being but there is a protector over it. 4 So man must consider from what he has been created. 5 he has been created out of a seminal fluid 6 That issued from between the loins and ribs. 7 Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able. 8 upon the day when the secrets are tried, 9 Then will (man) have no power, nor any helper. 10 I swear by the raingiving heavens, 11 and the replenishing earth, 12 It is surely a decisive utterance; 13 And is not a matter of amusement. 14 Verily they are plotting a plot. 15 but I shall bring all their scheming to nought. 16 So leave the unbelievers to themselves; respite them awhile. 17
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
