Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By oath of the late morning, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
