The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
