In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Alif Lam Mim 1 This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah; 2 the pious who believe in the unseen, attend to prayer, give in charity part of what We have granted them; 3 who believe in the Book We have sent down to you (i.e. the Qur'an) and in the Books sent down before you, and firmly believe in the Hereafter. 4 These are on guidance from their Lord, and these they are the blissful ones. 5 Verily those who have disbelieved, it is equal to them whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they will not believe. 6 Allah has sealed up their hearts and ears and a covering has fallen over their eyes, and they have incurred the severest punishment. 7
