Abraham was, certainly, an obedient and upright person. He was not a pagan. 120 He was thankful to God for His bounties. God chose him and guided him to the right path. 121 And gave him what is good in the world, and in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous and the good. 122 Then, We have inspired you (O Muhammad SAW saying): "Follow the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism - to worship none but Allah) and he was not of the Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, disbelievers, etc.). 123 The Sabbath was only enjoined on those who differed about it. Your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection regarding the things about which they differed. 124 (O Prophet), call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and reason with them in the best manner possible. Surely your Lord knows best who has strayed away from His path, and He also knows well those who are guided to the Right Way. 125 If you want retaliation, let it be equal to that which you faced. But if you exercise patience it will be better for you. 126 Exercise patience and let it be only for the cause of God. Do not be grieved about them nor disappointed at their evil plans. 127 Allah is with the cautious and those who do good. 128
