The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
