Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ The true event! 1 and what is the Resurrection Verifier? 2 And what will make you realize what the Inevitable Hour is? 3 The tribes of Thamud and 'Aad belied the Striking Day. 4 As for Thamud, they were destroyed by the outburst. 5 The Ads were destroyed by a swift, destructive gale 6 To which He subjected them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so that thou mightest have seen men during it lying prostrate, as though they were stumps of palms ruined. 7 Canst thou (O Muhammad) see any remnant of them? 8 And Pharaoh, and those before him, and the Cities Overthrown, committed habitual Sin. 9 and they rebelled against the Messenger of their Lord, and He seized them with a surpassing grip. 10 When the flood rose high and covered the whole land, We carried you in the Ark. 11 That We might make it a Message unto you, and that ears (that should hear the tale and) retain its memory should bear its (lessons) in remembrance. 12 Hence, [bethink yourselves of the Last Hour,] when the trumpet [of judgment] shall be sounded with a single blast, 13 when the earth with all its mountains is lifted up and crushed with a single blow, 14 on that Day, the Event occurs. 15 And the heaven will split [open], for that Day it is infirm. 16 and the angels [will appear] at its ends, and above them, eight will bear aloft on that Day the throne of thy Sustainer's almightiness… 17 On that Day you shall be brought to judgment: not [even] the most hidden of your deeds will remain hidden. 18 Then as to him who will be vouchsafed his book in his right hand, he shall say: here! read my book! 19 Indeed, I was certain that I would be meeting my account." 20 They will have a pleasant life 21 In a lofty garden, 22 with clusters of fruit within easy reach. 23 "Eat ye and drink ye, with full satisfaction; because of the (good) that ye sent before you, in the days that are gone!" 24 But as for him whose record shall be placed in his left hand, he will exclaim: "Oh, would that I had never been shown this my record, 25 Nor known whatever was my reckoning! 26 “Alas, if only it had been just death.” 27 “My wealth did not in the least benefit me.” 28 and my authority has been destroyed' 29 "Seize him and manacle him, 30 Then cast him into the burning fire, 31 And then insert him in a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits. 32 He would not believe in Allah, the Most Great; 33 Nor he urged on others the feeding of the poor. 34 “So he does not have any friend here this day.” 35 neither any food saving foul pus, 36 that none but sinners eat' 37
