T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta Ha 1 We have not sent the Quran to make you, (Muhammad), miserable, 2 But only as a reminder for those who fear [Allah] - 3 a revelation from Him who has created the earth and the high heavens 4 The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established. 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, and all that lies between them, and underneath the soil. 6 And if you speak aloud – so He surely knows the secret and that which is more concealed. 7 Allah - there is no god but He. His are the most excellent names. 8 And has the story of Moses reached you? - 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family, "Wait here. I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a brand from it, or find some guidance at the fire." 10 When he came close to it, a voice called out, "Moses, 11 "Verily I am thy Lord! therefore (in My presence) put off thy shoes: thou art in the sacred valley Tuwa. 12 And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed: 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 Verily the Hour is coming - I wish to conceal it - in order that every one may be requited according to that which he hath endeavoured. 15 "Therefore let not such as believe not therein but follow their own lusts, divert thee therefrom, lest thou perish!".. 16 And what is this in your right hand, O Musa! 17 He said: This is my staff whereon I lean, and wherewith I bear down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses. 18 God said, "Moses, cast it down." 19 He threw it, and behold! It was a snake, active in motion. 20 Said He, 'Take it, and fear not; We will restore it to its first state. 21 "Now draw thy hand close to thy side: It shall come forth white (and shining), without harm (or stain),- as another Sign,- 22 That We may show you of Our greater signs: 23 And go to Pharaoh now for he has transgressed all bounds." 24
