The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
118 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Prophets (Al-Anbyaa') before Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Successful indeed are the believers. 1 those who humble themselves in their prayer, 2 those who turn away from all that is frivolous; 3 Who strive for betterment; 4 And who guard their modesty - 5 [not giving way to their desires] with any but their spouses - that is, those whom they rightfully possess [through wedlock]: for then, behold, they are free of all blame, 6 (but whosoever seeks after more than that, those are the transgressors) 7 and who are faithful to their trusts and to their pledges, 8 And who (strictly) guard their prayers;- 9 These are indeed the inheritors. 10 Who shall inherit the Firdaus (Paradise). They shall dwell therein forever. 11 Man We did create from a quintessence (of clay); 12 then We set him, a drop, in a receptacle secure, 13 then We created of the drop a clot then We created of the clot a tissue then We created of the tissue bones then We garmented the bones in flesh; thereafter We produced him as another creature. So blessed be God, the fairest of creators! 14 And then you will certainly die, 15 Then verily on the Day of Judgment ye shall be raised up. 16 And We created above you seven ways, and We were not heedless of creation. 17 And We sent down water from the sky in proper measure, then stored it in the earth; and indeed We are Able to take it away! 18 Then through water We caused gardens of date-palms and vines to grow for you wherein you have an abundance of delicious fruits and from them you derive your livelihood. 19 And We also produced the tree which springs forth from Mount Sinai, containing oil and sauce for those that eat. 20 You have a lesson in livestock. We provide you with drink from what is in their bellies, and you have many other benefits from them; some of them you eat, 21 And you are carried on them and on boats. 22

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
