The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Prosperous are the believers, 1 Those who humble themselves in their prayers; 2 and from idle talk turn away 3 who give charity, 4 who strictly guard their private parts 5 save from their wives, or those whom their right hands possess; for with regard to them they are free from blame " 6 But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors - 7 Those who are faithfully true to their Amanat (all the duties which Allah has ordained, honesty, moral responsibility and trusts etc.) and to their covenants; 8 and those who attend to their prayers; 9 and who are steadfast in their prayer. 10 Who shall inherit Paradise; therein they shall be abiders. 11 Verily We created man from a product of wet earth; 12 Then We placed him as a sperm in a firmly established lodging; 13 Then We fashioned the sperm into an embryo, then fashioned the embryo into a shapeless lump of flesh; then from the lump of flesh We fashioned bones, then clothed the bones with flesh. Thus We formed him into a new creation. So blessed be God the best of Creators. 14 after this you shall surely die. 15 then on the Day of Resurrection you shall surely be raised up. 16 We have created seven ways above you; of Our creation, We are never inattentive. 17 We have sent a measure of water from the sky to stay on earth and We have the power to take it away. 18 We grow orchards of dates and grapes from it for you, Which yield fruits in abundance that you eat. 19 And [We brought forth] a tree issuing from Mount Sinai which produces oil and food for those who eat. 20 There is a lesson for you concerning cattle. We provide you with drink from their bellies and many other benefits. You can consume them as meat. 21 and upon them, and on the ships, you are borne. 22
